Preschool Camps

Moving and Grooving | 8:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. | $275/week 

Turn up the music and let’s get moving! We’ll explore sound with movement as we experiment with a variety of instruments. Campers will create their own music machines from unique materials, while building brains, bodies, and buddies along the way. 

 

Afternoon Camps | Options to extend your child’s day 

 

Lunch Bunch | 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. | $50/week (If selecting an afternoon camp, Lunch Bunch is included in the price.)

Does your camper need an extra hour after morning camp to enjoy lunch and recess with friends? Add “Lunch Bunch” to the day. Campers bring their own lunch. TLS is a nut-free school. No peanut butter or other foods that contain nuts of any kind, please. 

 

Stay and Play | 12:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Does your camper want to stay all day? This afternoon session is organized by age and stage. Younger children will have more time to rest and nap while older children will enjoy free play, snacks, as well as organized games with camp counselors. It's a fun way to extend your

Camp Curiosity day. “Lunch Bunch” included.

 

Lower School Camps

 

Lego Derby | 8:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. | $275/week

Ready, set, GO!! Lego Derby allows students to design and build their very own derby car. What is aerodynamics? Is a sleek, longer car the way to go? How many wheels is best? Build, test, and rebuild until you have the car of your dreams. Do you have what it takes to be the Derby Champion? Sign up and find out!

All Sports Camp (Grades 1-5) | 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Calling all sports fans! Come hang out with TLS staff as we play the day away. Campers will be introduced to the fundamentals of a wide variety of sports and games including soccer, badminton, lacrosse, volleyball, flag football, basketball, and Gaga Ball! Our 40+ acre campus includes two soccer fields, a football field, a gym, three outdoor basketball courts, and our very own Gaga Ball Pit. All skill types are welcome! “Lunch Bunch” included.

Weird Nature Science (Grades 1-2) | 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Have you ever wanted to be a scientist? Or, wanted to increase your understanding of the natural world? Well, you’re in luck! In this program, we’ll be learning about physics and the world around through fun experiments in chemistry and physics. We’ll learn about states of matter, the animal and plant kingdoms, and how we interact with nature in our everyday lives work. This is the perfect camp if you love science, engineering, or just want to get a little messy.

LS Dragster Cars (Grades 3-5) | 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Embark on an exciting journey into the world of car design at our Lower School Car Design Camp! This camp, led by Mr. Johnson, is perfect for students who are curious about cars and want to have a fun and educational experience. During the camp, participants will get an introduction to car design and will design, create, and launch their own cars powered by compressed air. It's a hands-on experience that not only allows for creative expression but also provides insights into the engineering process, from idea to final creation. The camp concludes with a laid-back racing competition where participants can enjoy watching their designed cars zoom down the track. It's a friendly event that adds a touch of excitement to the camp, giving everyone a chance to showcase their creations and have  fun.

Archery Camp (Grades 4-8) | 1:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. | $225/week

Ever attempted to shoot an arrow? Come learn and explore the sport of archery at Camp Curiosity. Campers will learn and study the parts of the bow and arrow along with studying the safety precautions of the sport as well. Students will also get to compete with fellow campers throughout the week. This camp is for students rising in Grades 4-8. All skill levels are welcome!

Middle School Camps

Middle School Rockets (Grades 6-8) | 8:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. | $275 per week

Embark on an exciting adventure at our Middle School Rockets Camp, designed exclusively for curious and creative middle school students! Join TLS’s own Mr. Johnson for a week of hands-on fun as we explore the basics of water rocket design, introducing the world of aerospace engineering. During the camp, students will have the chance to design, create, and launch their very own water bottle rockets. Dive into the engineering process, from brainstorming ideas to refining designs, and discover the joy of seeing your creations take flight. The camp culminates in a friendly launch competition, where participants can showcase their rockets and compete for the longest flight time. This camp offers a laid-back yet educational environment, perfect for those who want to learn while having a great time.
