Tuition Deposit:

A tuition deposit is required at the time an enrollment contract is signed/submitted, for all levels of enrollment.  This deposit amount is credited to the total tuition due.  Deposits are non-refundable.

 

The tuition deposits are:

A: Full-day Grades 1-8:   Learning Center                      $2,500

B.  Full-day Grades K-8:                                                    $1,700

C: All Acorn and Preschool Schedules                            $   750

 

The school offers three payment options:

1. Your deposit with the enrollment contract, and the remainder due by July 15

2. Your deposit with the enrollment contract, and 50% of the remainder due July 15, and the remaining 50%, due November 15 

3. Your deposit with the enrollment contract, and the remainder due in 10 equal monthly payments August-May, through Blackbaud Tuition Management’s Automatic Withdrawal Plan or Monthly Recurring Credit/Debit Card Plan.

 

Tuition Refund Insurance

The Dewar’s Tuition Refund Plan, designed to protect your interest in the event of withdrawal or dismissal, it is available to all families enrolled at The Lexington School. The Tuition Refund insurance plan is required for payment options 2 and 3 and is recommended for Payment Option 1. The cost of participation is 0.65% of tuition.  This fee will be billed separately and will be due along with your first scheduled payment. Please note: If you select Payment Option #1, and payment is not received by the due date, participation in the Tuition Refund Plan will be required and billed accordingly.

Financial Aid

The Lexington School offers need-based financial aid to students in full-day programs.  All grants are based on demonstrated need as established by School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS).  Awards are made annually and may be renewed pending continued need for assistance and availability of funds.  In addition to the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS), applicants for financial aid are required to submit a copy of their previous year’s federal income tax returns and W-2 form(s).  Application materials are available from the Admissions Office.  For new families, the deadline to apply for the first round of Financial Aid is February 1st.  All information is kept in strict confidence.  Please see the Financial Aid brochure and Director of Financial Aid for more information.
